Angie Laliotitis from the Newtown LJ Hooker approved our lease and then wouldn't let me have the keys to show my g/f through the property for 30 minutes even though she had agreed on the phone to let me do this. We both took time off of work to come down to her office and then she refused to speak to us saying that she had an "emergency" and that she didn't know when she'd be free to talk to us next. We'd just heard her tell the receptionist that she'd be going out to a couple of properties and then knocking off early in a chatty, lighthearted way. She said we couldn't see the property again (the weekend inspection was 15 mins) and that I'd have to pay a non refundable $600 holding deposit to get the keys. When I asked if my g/f could make an appointment to see the property later she said no and stormed out. I withdrew my application and the property is still vacant a week and a half later which must be really annoying for the owner.
