Slow to respond to any queries, tried to claim $1500 from our bond with no details of what was being claimed (later reduced to $150 on appeal).

What the tenant had to say:
I have had the displeasure of dealing with these folk for two leases. My first experience was terrible - they were simply appalling! I have NEVER dealt with any business entity that was so unprofessional. Second time around and ... little improvement. Nick Arena can be very aggressive - particularly when he thinks your rent is in arrears (but is isn't - they just didn't allocate the funds!!). I find them hard to deal with at the best of times.

Served an eviction notice (for eviction 2 weeks after we were scheduled to move out) rather than calling to tell us we're behind in rent (automatic payment expired which we fixed as soon as we were told). Didn't turn up for the first property inspection. Attempted to claim against our bond without including any details of what damage was claimed

Response Time
Very slow on all fronts. 5 weeks to tell us we were behind in rent. Took them till 2 weeks after we had moved out to do the outgoing inspection
Customer Service
Difficult to deal with, slow to respond and were loose with the truth during arbitration.

What the tenant had to say:
This agency is completely full of fail. I have lived in many properties over the years and have never had an agent be so unprofessional. They attempted to claim $1500 in damages against us and after arbitration was reduced to $150.

If you have the misfortune to rent a property with them be sure to have completed the incoming inspection report as they will attempt to pin existing damage to the property on you when you leave.

They went as far as loosing their copy of the incoming property inspection report that we had completed (and had a copy of), claiming that we never handed for form in then claiming during arbitration that we never told them we had a copy (I had email evidence to the contrary)

These agents are not to be trusted as a tenant or as a property owner. Avoid at all costs!
