Never again will I rent a property through this agent
The person in charge of our property changed 4 times over 18 months, never got to deal with the same person more than twice
Took 3 goes to get a singe name changed on the lease (they sent it back to use unchanged twice)
They sent an unlicensed handy man to fix the leaking laundry sink
We damaged the side fence – we were upfront about it and knew it would come out of the bond but it took 2 months to get it fixed and that was only after I gave our neighbour the agent number and got him to complain to them as they were not responding to us
At our final inspection – which I was present for the person doing the inspection told be everything was fine and signed off on his inspection form – the next day I get a phone call telling me half a dozen things were not done and X amount was being taken out of our bond – I told him I was in the area today and could meet him to discuss this and even pop around the house and fix some things but he wouldn’t have a bar of it.
Now I know to document everything that happens
