Interior
We have had huge problems with water entering the premises through the vent over the stove when it rains. Also the ceiling in the back room is just covered in mould and hole in the ceiling due to water getting in.Light in dining area has never worked due to when patio was installed something happened with the electrics and we have never had power for patio/carport and dining room lighting.
Exterior
A new patio was attatched to the house and we have had water consistantly leak into the whole left side of the house where it has been attatched. It has caused ceiling damage.Drain pipes are not attatched to the gutters correctly. We had to fix clothes line after numerous requests.A tap in the kitchen needs to be replaced but request not acted upon.Flooding from gap betwwen patio/carport and house for first few months when it rained. No powre or lighting on patio/carprt due to problem when it was installed.
Management
The real estate agent does pass on our concerns to the Landlord, but should probably be more forceful, as this is a health & safety issue.
Neighbourhood
Wonderful neighborhood.Close to everything, trees & excelleent public transport at the door. Surrounded by nice homes and nice neighbors.
Comfort Level
Airconditioner requested to be serviced as struggles in summer. Not insulated so gets hot in summer.Front door does not have flyscreen/ security door so cannot be opened because of bugs entering the house.
Appliances & Furnishings
We had to send away for a thermostat for the oven because it did not have one and everything was undercooked or burnt. It still does not cook very well. Airconditioner needs a service.

What the tenant had to say:
We have been moving furniture and appliances around since we moved in because of the flooding in the kitchen and spare room on a regular basis. We have been here for 9 months and have now broken our lease and will be moving in a week.In the mean time we are still dealing with water everywhere and new leaks and mould appearing everytime it rains. We are very frustrated that we cannot apply for some sort of compensation for having to move through no fault of our own.We are also landlords, owning a house interstate and would never treat our tenents as attriciousley as we have been treted. We have been banging our heads against a brick wall. The only reason we are posting this is because it is the only way to warn people about this property. There are health and safety issues with the water in the ceiling and walls, and with the mould. Also, you will only experience silence and apathy when you complain.
